Atena is a witch-nun and ex-member of the Cumaea. She is in an intimate relationship with Sophia, another Cumaea researcher. She is secretly smuggling Arcanics out of the Federation of Man. She is the biological sister of Resak.
Personality[]
Atena is an intelligent, cautious woman from an influential family. Introduced as a fellow researcher, she appeared to view Arcanics as animals and mostly disgusted with Federation traitors. This perspective is actually a cover–– she is sympathetic to Arcanics.
Despite being a witch-nun, she is protective of her Arcanic brother and loyal to her cause of saving all Arcanic lives by preventing the upcoming war. Like all witch-nuns, her instincts are sharp and she can foresee danger before it occurs.

Volume Five[]
After Aurum's bombing, Atena and Resak travel to Constantine to meet with a gathering of envoys. They narrowly avoid the subsequent bombing of the peace talks when they follow their intuition and stay away from the gathering.
