Volume Three[]
Gull wears a shard of the Mask of Power, shattering the Gaol above Pontus. This ruins her human body and leaves her badly wounded.
Volume Four[]
When she is taken into the Doctor's inner sanctum, Maika discovers that he had captured Gull in the chaos after Pontus. She had been locked into a machine that drains her blood to fuel his experiments. Not wanting the Doctor to benefit from her power, she frees the old god host and takes her away from the Blood Court. Gull swears she will not physically act against Maika thereafter, owing the half-wolf her life.
While leaving the forest and the Blood Court, Gull catches and kills Yafaela for food. She is interrupted by the destruction of Aurum, which triggers a telepathic shock.
Volume Five[]
Gull retreats to Aurum and meets with Dagon and Dreamer, informing them the Aurum bomb was fueled by her own blood - a result of the Lord Doctor's experiments. She avoids telling them of her meeting with Maika, and the loose peace she made with the Halfwolf.
