An Inquistrix, and sister in arms along side the Flay, Tong and Needle. She is mostly mute and prefers to communicate with her hands.

Hammer is massive compared to her sisters in arms. She keeps most of her body covered in black: she wears a feathered shoulder piece, connected to an ornate black robe. Her face is completely covered by a silk-like fabric. Her insignia is on her chest. The only part of her body that is not covered are her hands, which she uses to gesture and communicate.

Hammer travels with Needle to meet Colonel Anuwat's forces as they prepare to assault Ravenna. Desperate to return to the High Council and inform them about Gull's true identity, the pair are shocked when the Mother Superior orders them to remain with Anuwat and do his bidding. Thus, they deduce the Mother Superior herself is compromised and begin to suspect she is an old god as well.
